Most businesses start up a Facebook page and post a few articles and photos, expecting that this will be enough to interest people. However, content for social media requires lots of planning and strategies to help your customers to engage. If you don’t have the time to think about what you’re posting, maybe it’s time to look into employing or outsourcing social media managers.
- Poor Customer Service
One thing companies often fail to do when posting on social media is respond to users on their page. While you may have just missed it, or you simply don’t have the time to respond to several replies; leaving the messages will have your audience feeling devalued and ignored. If they are so dissatisfied by your customer service, they may even write a bad review of your service, which can be detrimental to your business.
- Poor Grammar and Spelling
Always double-check your posts for spelling and grammar errors before you post them online. If you have too many errors on your channels, it comes across to the audience that you are not professional. Alongside this, the audience may see this as a lack of care to proofread your content, meaning they could mock you online.
