Modelling agency OTR approached the VerriBerri team with a dual approach. They wanted to attract people to become models for the platform. In addition, they wanted people to find the agency and book the models. As such we were tasked with an Instagram campaign to achieve the previous two goals. The modelling agency is in a very niche sector, so as such finding models had historically been difficult.
Our team quickly realised that if we set up a page that predominantly looked to attract models, those looking to book would still get in contact. As such we put the clear majority of our efforts into female focused posts. Our social media strategy was very direct and we used our in-house design services to create bespoke graphics. We utilised both the Instagram grid and the stories.
The target set was 10 new sign ups each month. The team were on this project for three months. The client did choose to renew our social media services, but not immediately. This was because the influx of enquires was so great they were struggling to keep up with the results of our marketing efforts.
A total of 91 people clicked through to the website from Instagram within just one month.
Over the course of the three months, 127 people direct messaged the account looking to sign up as models, this does not include those that also enquired from the website or phone.
The conversion rate was 38% which is an incredibly strong statistic. For context, the average conversion rate accepted across the board for all marketing agencies on social media is 0.71%
