We were approached by a wedding venue in Essex, Cressing Temple, who were looking for assistance with their marketing, predominantly social media. The venue is managed by Essex County Council so the running of the account was to be in line with council policies and wording at all times. This can make increasing reach difficult.
We established the correct audience for the wedding venue and realised that the current access to images was unfortunately limited. As such, we arranged for our own videographers and photographers to attend the site and take updated professional photographs. We also arranged for our in-house designers to create social media friendly graphics. In addition to the above, we staged a wedding at the venue, supplying the models and props ourselves. The result was a catalogue of over 1000 images to use for marketing reasons. We used all of this information to create a comprehensive social media strategy.
Not only did we update and enhance the venues marketing materials but within just eight weeks we managed to increase the followers on the existing Facebook page by 783% and the post engagement increased by 591%. Furthermore, page views increased by 595%.
On Instagram, we increased the page following by 654% and the visits to the page by 132%. The average engagement rate post was 20%, which is amazing as an average Instagram business profile is considered successful if the post engagement is at 2%.
